Infrastructure Upgrades in Germany

Users,
Starting in the next 2-4 days, and during 2-3 weeks, we will be performing some gradual infrastructure upgrades to our Germany network with the objective of increasing the server performance and reducing lag in this location.

During this period you may see a "Node Maintenance" warning on your control panel and be prevented from performing actions on your control panel for around 1-3 hours.
Additionally, if your server is currently hosted in Germany your (numeric) IP may change multiple times (we don't recommend using your numeric IP for this reason), your Node DNS and FTP IP might also change, if this happens you will be notified via email.

Custom DNS/SubDomains will never change and will never stop working during this period, so we recommend you use them.

After this is done we plan on being able to offer better performance and more server space in this location.

Your data will not be affected in any way.

Any relevant updates will be posted here when needed.

Users,
As part of this infrastructure upgrades, we have retired the Comet node and split the servers previously hosted on this node between two new faster nodes, Helios and Magnus.
This two new nodes are faster and more powerful then Comet was, and now the load is split from one machine to two different machines to decrease load.

This additionally allows us to provision more servers in Germany.
