How do I create a geyser server?

Users need a Java Edition account to join the server using bedrock.
  • Geyser Standalone - You must have 2 servers to use this guide. You would have to be verified or boost the discord server (see the info note at the bottom).
  • Geyser Plugin - You will not need multiple servers for this guide.
Follow the guide below to create a Java/Bedrock Server with Geyser (Standalone):
  1. Go and reinstall the server and choose the following:
    - Variant: GeyserMC
    - Version: latest
    - Environment: java8
    - Delete Files: ✅
  2. Restart the server
  3. Now let's get another server with PaperMC and start it
  4. Go back to the GeyserMC server and edit config.yml using WebFTP or FileZilla
  5. Change the address and port in the config to the one you have for the PaperMC server
  6. YAML:
    remote:
      address: scorpion.de.freemcserver.net
      port: 25949
  7. Restart the GeyserMC server and now you're done.
GeyserMC Server - Bedrock Users
PaperMC Server - Java Users

Follow the guide below to create a Java/Bedrock Server with Geyser (Plugin):
  1. Go and reinstall the server and choose the following:
    - Variant: PaperMC
    - Version: 1.16.5
    - Environment: java16
    - Delete Files: ✅
  2. Restart the server
  3. Download the Geyser Spigot plugin from here
  4. Upload the plugin to the plugin folder using WebFTP or FileZilla
  5. Restart the server to generate the plugin files
  6. Geyser now has to have a port for bedrock so create one in Settings > Port like so
    - Port Number: 50460 (Choose from 50000 - 51000)
    - Port Type: UDP
  7. Change the address to the server IP and port for the remote to server port and the bedrock to the one you assigned via settings
    YAML:
    bedrock:
      address: 0.0.0.0
      port: 50640
    YAML:
    remote:
      address: scorpion.de.freemcserver.net
      port: 26998
  8. Restart the server and now you're done.

Boosting the discord server does give you another server but that will not last forever. You will get the server when you boost and ask support for another server and when the boost expires and you're no longer boosting the discord the server will be deleted with no backup provided.
